CityGuide DMS supports the following Coordinate-Functions ...
 

	Coordinates Off   The Coordinate-Functions are disabled.
	UTM (northern hemisphere)   Coordinates are divided into units of UTM/ETRS89 like this: e.g. "32400083.37, 5579649.13"
	Geographical (Greenwich) [deg,min,sec]   Coordinates are divided into units of Geographical/ETRS89 like this: e.g. "73543.0105, 502137.5364"
	Geographical (Greenwich) [deg]   Coordinates are divided into units of Geographical/ETRS89 like this: e.g. "7.5952667, 50.3604266"
	Gauß-Krüger   Coordinates are divided into units of GK/DHDN90 like this: e.g. "3400118.51, 5581441.29"

The Coordinate-Transformations in CityGuide DMS follows the standard BeTA2007/NTv2. With this, you can reach an accuracy of +/- 0.5 Meters !

Coordinates - Program-Interface

 
As soon as a coordinate system has been activated, the coordinate-functions will be displayed in the program-interface as shown below ...

(4) Mouse-Cursor for Coordinates-Selection

Coordinates - Determine Coordinates

 
In order to determine a coordinate of your current source map you will have to start with selecting the desired coordinate system. Now select the entry "Determine Coordinates" and click on the desired location within your map window. 
 

 
Upon clicking on the map a dialogue will appear presenting you the chosen coordinates. These can now be copied onto your clipboard and thus be transferred to any other application.

Coordinates - Input Coordinates

 
In order to move the current position of your map to a certain destination you have to start by activating a coordinate system, e.g. the "UTM"-System. Now select the function "Input Coordinates".
 

 
A dialogue will appear asking you to insert the desired coordinates into a blank field. After pressing "Show" the dialogue will close and the new position will be acquired in the map window.

Coordinates - Transform Coordinates

 
You also have the option to convert coordinates between different systems. Please activate first the desired source-coordinate system, e.g. the "UTM"-System. Now select the function "Transform Coordinates".
 

 
A dialogue will appear asking you to insert the desired coordinates into a blank field. After pressing "Transform" the target coordinates will be calculated as shown above. These can now be copied onto your clipboard and thus be transferred to any other application.
